Start the New Year with a new fitness buddy or an all-around gal pal. We first featured Acadia in our October 2025 issue, and sadly, this sweet 2-year-old Lab mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love is still waiting for her forever home at Collin County Animal Services.

According to CCAS staff, this energetic girl lights up every room she enters with her playful spirit and eagerness to make new friends. Whether she’s showing off her best “sit” for a treat or exploring the world around her, Acadia is always ready for her next adventure. A quick learner, she would thrive in a home with people ready to offer plenty of love, playtime and opportunities to keep building her skills — and soaking up the attention she deserves. In return, she’ll give you endless affection, loyalty and joyful companionship.
